WELCOME TO THE SCOTTISH PRIMARY SCHOOL PAGE
THE FIRST AND THE BEST SITE FOR MEMBERS OF SCHOOL BOARDS
This site provides information of interest to parents and teachers of children at primary schools throughout Scotland, and offers members of School Boards access to a number of unique resources, including the full text of the Scottish Consumer Council's booklet Law of the School : School Boards.
The Noticeboard is a particularly popular spot for people who want to ask questions or exchange information.
You can submit a piece for the noticeboard wherever you see the "Have Your Say" button, which appears on the left of this and other pages. Have a look and give it a try.
In addition to giving you pointers to key resources on the web, you will find on this site links to all the Scottish Primary Schools who run their own web pages, and the postal addresses and telephone numbers of absolutely every primary school in Scotland.
We've recently added a small art gallery which includes just a few of the very
best pictures created by Scottish primary schoolkids on the net.
If you want something of your own displayed here,
send us a small file (less than 50kb if possible) in a standard picture format.
We also make awards to other sites that are either run by or related to Scottish Primary Schools. Check them out. And email us to submit your own site if you think it deserves an award. These awards are only given to relevant sites that offer unique content, excellent links, and good design.
We've even won an award of our own. Schoolzone reckon that "Parents and Teachers from all over the U.K. will find the information, resources and links on this site invaluable."
You can link to Schoolzone from our Resources page.
I hope you find this site helpful, interesting and fun. Let me know what you think, and contact me if you think you can help to make it better.
